Hello, from Japan~

I've not been on dA for so long I've practically forgotten how to use the site. Goddamn.

Is there a way to schedule submissions so I don't just bulk upload everything at once? so used to doing things via tumblr that dA's submission system seems kinda archaic now, but maybe it's just because I'm so rusty lol


anyway, what have I been doing with my life? I've spent the last year living out in Japan--I come back to the UK in a few weeks actually, but before then I have exams to get through and a lil bit of travelling around to do.

I've done a fair amount of travelling (Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Kumamoto, Usa, Fukuoka, etc), gone to a few anime conventions and events, even did some fetish modelling in Tokyo and went to some really interesting alt/fet events in Osaka and stuff.

I've done some crazy stuff too, eat off a naked geisha, tried a bed of nails, went to an izakaya where the nurse-cosplaying-waitresses slap you if you do tequila shots and you get served cocktails out of bloodied mannequin heads and sex toy casts. Also did the standard cat cafe and owl cafe things, as well as even getting a job teaching english part time on the side. It's been a really good experience, and you know今、日本語を話せる。よっかですね〜

But really I'm so looking forward to coming back, as much as a love Japan I think I've had enough of living in a rice field and struggling with the language and not being able to work on big art/costume projects because space/equipment is lacking. Living in a rural area has also been kind of difficult, not much to do down in Oita bar look at rice fields and more rice fields and more rice fields.....

but yeah, anyway, I am alive!!! And trying to get back into dA, though whenever I do this I just seem to get reminded how dead it is compared to when I first joined all those 10 years ago.
